LIV® - Linde Integrated Valve
Linde has come up with a new mode of supply for Oxygen IP using lightweight Aluminum cylinders fitted with the Linde Integrated Valve (LIV®). LIV® comprises of integrated flow meter, pressure regulator and valves, and eliminates the requirement of any of these accessories which is complex to assemble and also reduces time in assembling such accessories before putting the cylinder fit for use for Oxygen therapy. LIV® is a proprietary technology of Linde and it helps in making oxygen therapy safer, easier, and more convenient for the users. It is easy to carry and handle a LIV® Cylinder as compared to any other cylinder. This new LIV® cylinder frees up time for healthcare professionals to concentrate on the patient and enables more cost-effective use of the cylinder content. Lightweight Aluminum cylinder allows safe and easy transportation. The lightweight Aluminum cylinder is easy to lift and carry. This allows for ease of use during patient transport to the hospital, within the hospital, and when taking patients outside the hospital. The cylinders and LIV® are compatible for use during MRI imaging (up to 3 Tesla and as close as 30 cm from the magnet opening), providing extra convenience.
